Love and Devotion: From Persia and Beyond

A major exhibition of Persian manuscripts at the State Library of Victoria. Coming March 2012

Persian cultural day 

Sunday 3 June, 10am–4pm

Join us to celebrate the rich and diverse culture of Melbourne’s Persian community at an engaging day of cultural activities for the whole family. Discover the beauty of Persian art and calligraphy and enjoy traditional dance and music performances. Other activities will include poetry readings, film screenings and games, plus workshops and storytelling for both adults and children. Guided tours of the Love and Devotion exhibition will be presented in both English and Persian. This special event at the State Library is presented in association with the Australian-Iranian Society of Victoria, the Iranian Cultural School and Victoria's Iranian community.
