Golbang is the official monthly newsletter of the Iranian Society of Victoria Inc. Since its establishment in 1991, ISoV has tried to reach out to its members via this media and indeed it has come a very long way. From a 4-page newsletter with basic page layout, it is now professionally prepared by a team of dedicated editorial group members and computer lay out experts.
Golbang now has 16 pages, which is planned to be increased to 20 in the future. All ISoV events are announced in Golbang. Also any community member’s announcements like weddings, newly born, death etc are included in Golbang. Editorials, community business ads, Iran related news, Persian literature articles, Persian crossword puzzles, Persian culture related articles (in English) and other miscellaneous articles form the rest of Golbang.
Due to high printing expenses, Golbang is printed in Black and white but we hope with our advertisers’ support we can publish the whole or parts of it in colour. Here in this website, we regularly upload the editorials and other popular articles from Golbang. Please email us with feedback on the articles.
